Three Rivers Fire Dept. get new truck

The Three Rivers Fire Department added a new vehicle to its fleet, as a fourth truck was delivered last week.

Interim chief Jeff Bloomfield said the department’s fourth truck has a capacity for up to 3,000 gallons of water, a feature that will benefit residents in Lockport Township, where hydrants are not available.

Bloomfield said the truck also features an option that allows operation of a front-mounted nozzle from inside the cab of the truck.
