Injures after car strikes tree

 

Two Sturgis men were injured after they were involved in a traffic accident Monday in Nottawa Township.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department said Sturgis resident Charles Smith, was driving east on M-86 when he lost control of his car in the 25000 block. The car left the roadway and struck a tree.

Smith and his passenger Michael Wolfinger,  of Sturgis, were treated on the scene by Lifecare Ambulance then transported to a Kalamazoo hospital.
