Motorcycle accident causes injuries

An Edwardsburg man was treated for injuries he suffered as the result of a motorcycle accident over the weekend in Cass County.

John Janasiak, 55, told sheriff’s officials he was eastbound on Marcellus Highway in Wayne Township around 11:20 a.m. Saturday when he failed to properly negotiate a curve near Glenwood Road. Janasiak drove off the roadway and lost control of his two-wheeler.

Janasiak was taken to Bronson Hospital for further treatment.  Alcohol is not believed to be a factor; Janasiak was not wearing a helmet, according to authorities.
