Plea agreement reached

A Burr Oak woman charged with possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime is set for sentencing Sept. 29 in District Court after reaching a plea agreement last week.

Meadow Marie Woodman, 33, pled guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Initial charges were dropped as part of Thursday’s agreement.

In an investigation conducted by Michigan State Police, Woodman had on her iPhone a video showing two students involved in sexual activity. The video had been recorded by the two students, consensually.

Woodman had served as senior class adviser and volunteer volleyball coach at Burr Oak Community Schools.

She is no longer affiliated with the school, but remains a Burr Oak Village Council member.
