Two injured in crash

Three people were treated for minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident earlier this week in Three Rivers.

According to Three Rivers police, Warren Rumsey, 92, of Fabius Township, was eastbound on Hoffman Street around 12:20 p.m. Wednesday and had stopped at a flashing-red signal at North Main Street. Police said Rumsey then proceeded through the intersection, where the rear quarter panel of his vehicle was struck by a southbound car driven by Martha Romig Miller, 75, of Park Township.

Miller’s vehicle careened into a utility box and struck a tree.

Miller, Rumsey and his 85-year-old wife, Ramona, were transported by ambulance to Three Rivers Health.

Rumsey was cited for failure to yield, according to police.
