Douglas Smith, 53

Douglas Wade Smith, age 53, of  Jones, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at his home. He was born in Morris, IL on April 30, 1961, a son of Ernie and Lennie (Greer)  Smith. Doug worked as a rewinder operator at White Pigeon Paper Mill for over 12 years. 
Douglas is  survived by  his mother, Lennie Smith, Jones; step son, Christopher Crumb, MI; a step grandson; sister, Priscilla (Rodney) Springer, Morris, IL; brothers, James Smith, Colon; Emerson (Lila) Smith, Joliet, IL; George (Deb) Smith, White Pigeon; and girlfriend Elaine Swartz, Cassopolis.He was preceded in death by his father, wife Vicky (Justice) Smith, step son David Pointer, brother Willard Smith, and niece Heather Ann Smith.
