Preparations are underway for the 58th annual Mendon Kiwanis Showboat fundraiser, and organizers are inviting the public to be a part of the musical program.
This year’s theme is “School Daze,” and will feature songs and skits from school over several decades.
A call-out is being made to anyone who wishes to be a part of the fun.
Practices are at 7 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at the Mendon Elementary School, starting tonight.
Show dates are Nov. 6, 7 and 8.
Special-act auditions will be held the first two weeks of practice, and should be within the theme of the show.
Prospective participants are asked to bring their own music or accompaniment to the audition, or they may simply sing in the chorus.
