Two public meetings to discuss the St. Joseph County River Trail master plan will take place simultaneously Wednesday.
The sessions begin at 7 p.m. at Colon Village Hall and the other at Constantine Village Office. Both meetings will present identical information.
Staged by Edgewater Resources of St. Joseph, the meetings are a progress report and final chance for public input before concept plan development.
The master plan will help identify and recognize the value of the riverfront assets of St. Joseph County as a public recreational resource, a source of great environmental value and a catalyst for meaningful economic development through increased tourism and enhanced property values throughout the county, according to Edgewater officials.
