Burr Oak woman sentenced Monday

A Burr Oak woman who pleaded guilty in August to contributing to the delinquency of a minor was sentenced Monday.

Meadow Woodman, 33, was sentenced to one year of probation and 20 hours of community service. In addition, she was assessed $710 in court costs and 15 days in jail, with credit for one day served.

The sentence was delivered by District Court Judge Jeff Middleton. In his sentencing, Middleton deferred jail time.

Woodman told the court the couple shown in a sex act on her cell phone used her phone without her consent.

Woodman, a former Burr Oak Village Council member, was initially charged with one count of possession of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.

As part of her probation, Woodman can have no unsupervised minors at her home.
