Louella “Ella” May Neely, age 105, of Three Rivers, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Riverview Manor. She was born on June 14, 1909 in Fork Ridge, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Agnes (Coyne) Estes.
Ella received her education in Middlesboro, Kentucky. In 1934 Ella moved from Monroe, MI to Three Rivers. She enjoyed reading scripture, interesting articles in the newspapers, and watching television. Ella also enjoyed taking family trips to Tennessee and Kentucky , crocheting, and sewing. She was an exceptional cook and cherished spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband , Charles ; daughter, Frances , and one son, Elden Dale Neely.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one son, Richard C. (Delores)Neely, of Three Rivers ; nieces, Ann Leabow, Debbie (Steve ) Canaday, both of Knoxville, TN.; nephew, Jon (Nancy) Estes, of Big Rapids, MI., and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on October 8, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Moore officiating.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Bethany Chapel; 15130 Millard Rd; Three Rivers, MI 49093.
Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers.
