Search warrant leads to arrest

Narcotics investigators from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit executed a search warrant Friday morning in Three Rivers.

Investigators had received information about marijuana trafficking occurring from a residence in the 1000 block of Washington Street.

Officers confirmed that a resident there was supplying marijuana and investigators obtained a search warrant, according to sheriff’s officials.

Inside the residence, officers located evidence of marijuana distribution, police said.

The suspect, a 57-year-old Three Rivers resident, was charged with delivery of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and maintaining a drug house.
