Three Rivers man arrested after fleeing police

A Three Rivers man was arrested Wednesday on several charges after fleeing from police.
Police knew the driver, Shane Lee Henderson, 25, did not have a valid driver’s license and attempted to make a stop.
Henderson fled into a field and eventually onto U.S. 131, at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour, according to police. The vehicle was eventually stopped at Fisher Lake and Carpenter roads, where it was cornered by Michigan State Police.
After the vehicle was stopped, the driver attempted to flee on foot but was eventually apprehended.
Henderson was arrested for fleeing and eluding, resisting and obstructing, driving with a suspended license, and on a warrant for a parole violation, according to authorities.
