Robert Eugene Kipker, 79, of Three Rivers, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Jan. 2, 1935 in Three Rivers, the son of the late Elmer and Barbara (Bryant) Kipker.
Mr. Kipker served his country in the U.S. Army from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1963. On July 26, 1958 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Betty (Heneghan) Kipker in Marcellus. Bob began his career with Continental Can Company before moving to Fisher Body and later transferring to General Motors in Three Rivers where he retired.
Mr. Kipker was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Kipker; and one sister Janet Jones.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory; wife of 56 years, Betty Kipker; one daughter, Cheryl (Glenn) Frye; two sons, Michael (Heather Henson) Kipker, Scott (Carol Obermesik), all of Three Rivers; one brother, Jerry (Sue) Kipker, of Schoolcraft. Ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
