St. Joseph County’s human resources manager announced Monday she is resigning to take another job.
Elishia Arver, who also serves as deputy county administrator, has accepted a position with General Products as corporate human resources manager at its Angola, Ind., plant.
Arver, 36, disclosed her intentions Monday morning to county administrator Pat Yoder.
The county earlier this year persuaded Arver to stay after she had accepted a job as controller and manager of Maple Lawn Medical Care, a senior-care facility in Coldwater. Arver was given a salary increase from $60,890 to $72,000 a year.
In addition, Arver was named deputy county administrator and was given an increase in number of vacation days from 15 to 20 annually.
Arver, a Coldwater resident and 1996 Bronson High School graduate, begins her new job Dec. 1.
