No injuries were reported Friday afternoon in a car-bus collision in Three Rivers.
The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. on West Michigan Avenue, just east of U.S. 131, according to Three Rivers Police.
The Three Rivers Community Schools bus was traveling west on Michigan Avenue when a car turned left from a business on the north side of the road. Police said the driver of the car was waved onto the road from the driver of a car stopped in traffic. The driver involved in the accident, however, did not see the bus approaching in an adjacent lane.
As a result, the vehicle struck the side of the bus.
Ten students were on the bus. They were delayed for 45 minutes before another bus arrived, according to police.
Names of the drivers involved have not yet been released.
