Lottie May Cooper, age 93, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI. on July 12, 1921 the daughter of the late James and Maryetta (King) Terman.
Mrs. Cooper has been a resident of Three Rivers since 1948 where she was married to the late Dion Cooper, whom she married on March 20, 1941. She was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Church. She was an excellent homemaker and worked downtown Three Rivers at Nobels and Riesh’s Shoe Store as well as Newberry’s. Mrs. Cooper was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Cooper leaves to cherish her loving memory two sons, Dion James (Sue) Cooper, Jr., of Lawton, MI., and David (Elizabeth) Cooper, of Three Rivers; two grandchildren, Adam (Mindy)Cooper, of Three Rivers, and Joy Anne(Jim) Miles, of Three Rivers; six great grandchildren, Addy and Maya Cooper, Christopher Cooper, Jonathan and Zachary Lamb, and Bryant Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, December 8th, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Rosary service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9th, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Fr. Mathew Manalel as celebrant.
