Samuel James Hubbard, Jr. passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Bronson Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born March 15, 1945 in Chicago IL, to Samuel and Dorothea Hubbard to that union, one sister.
Samuel married the love of his life, Doris White on October 13, 1983 they built a life together filled with love, raising nine children.
Samuel was a loving husband and father, he held many jobs to support his family, he enjoyed being a school bus driver, he was also part of the Chicago Special Police force, and he ventured out as an entrepreneur, but he was most fond of the 15 years he worked at Motorola in the building services maintenance department.
Samuel always believed in God, when he studied the bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses his love for god grew stronger and he dedicated his life to Jehovah January 1986, becoming one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He leaves to cherish his memory loving and devoted wife Doris Hubbard; children: Melvin Hubbard, Dorothea (Timothy) Adade, Sirod (Rebecca) Hubbard, Sylvester Hubbard; Anthony (Verna) Hill, Gerald (Martissue) Williams, Charles (Keisha) Williams, Kewanda (Gerald) Bell; Sister: Emily Jones; Nieces: Elizabeth Leverette, Emmoretta Jones, Evelyn Bryant, Edith Jones; Nephew: Edd Jones; A host of grandchildren, many relatives and Christian friends
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness; 330 S. Douglas Ave; Three Rivers, MI 49093.
