Uldeen Justice-Henry, 90

Uldeen L. Justice-Henry, age 90, of Sturgis, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at ThurstonWoods Village. She was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Florence Township, a daughter of the late Lowell L. and Aletha Irene (Hammond) Wadsworth. Mrs. Justice-Henry called Sturgis her home for the past 20 years, coming from Centreville.

In 1942, Uldeen married Ireland Justice Jr. in Centreville. He passed in 1988. In 1989, she married Patrick Henry in Centreville. They lived inWest Virginia for 11 years until Patrick’s passing. Uldeen then moved back to Michigan.

Mrs. Justice-Henry worked many years at Central Florist in Centreville. She was very family-oriented and motherly, loving to sew and cook for her family.

Uldeen was a member of Centreville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Jill (Rick) Van Nest of Sturgis; a son, James Justice of North Carolina; a stepson, Sean (Sulo) Henry of California; grandchildren Jason Van Nest (Kathy Stewart) of Sturgis, Erin (Ray) Johnson of Athens, Christopher (Annette) Justice of North Carolina and Karen (Rick) Hardman of North Carolina; Kathy Stewart’s children, Roger and Ashley Stewart, both of Sturgis; step-grandchild, Nicole Henry of California; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Keith (Leota) Wadsworth of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; two brothers, LawrenceWadsworth and Vernon Wadsworth; and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Justice.

The funeral service celebrating the life of Uldeen Justice-Henry was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Centreville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Emily Beachy officiated the service. A graveside committal followed the service at Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville.
