Sturgis Police are continuing their investigation into a robbery early Saturday morning at the Sturgis Petroleum Marathon Gas Station.
A gunman, armed with a black handgun, entered the business – located at the corner of Fawn River and South Centerville Road – just after 4 a. m. Saturday.
The suspect entered the store and demanded money from an employee. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled eastbound on Fawn River Road.
The store employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as a while male with brown hair and a skinny build. He covered his face with a green bandana.
A Michigan State Police K- 9 Unit searched the area, but was unable to locate the suspect.
