Here’s a reminder that a trio of community-visioning workshops are taking place in coming weeks to help determine the future of Three Rivers.
Community visioning is a planning tool that enables residents, business owners and local institutions to have a voice in the decision-making process of their community. The workshops have been planned to gather information from residents about what they like about Three Rivers and what they would change, and explore opportunities for change.
Feedback from the visioning workshops will serve as a foundation for developing a consensus about what kind of future the community wants to have and decide what steps are necessary to achieve it. The community-visioning process will build on past accomplishments and evaluate new priorities to determine what is relevant now.
The workshops will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, and again Feb. 11 and Feb. 25 at the Three Rivers Community Center, 103 S. Douglas Ave.
