The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency’s Board of Health has released its “Certificates of Excellence” in food service report for 2014.
Award recipients represent food establishments that were able to meet stringent criteria during the year. Ninety-six tri-county food service establishments, including restaurants, bars, catering kitchens and schools, received this year’s award.
Schools in St. Joseph County to meet the standard were in Centreville, Sturgis, Constantine, Three Rivers and Mendon.
Eateries in Sturgis to receive the award were: Green Valley Snack Bar, Corner Café, Hot ‘n Now, Jimi Jo’s Ice Cream Shoppe and Mike’s Pizza.
Piper’s Grinders Galore and Town Fryer in Constantine were also awarded.
The White Pigeon McDonald’s, and L.A.’s Coffee, South Lanes, Three Rivers 6 and Three Rivers Health in Three Rivers also received the certificate of excellence.
