June Glide, 82

June Joy Glide, age 82, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Three Rivers. June was born in Monroe, MI on September 7, 1932, a daughter of Paul Richard Thackery and Olga Herrmann. June graduated from Northwestern High School, Detroit. On September 24, 1962, she married Robert H. Glide in Detroit. She worked as a Bookkeeper, Tavern Owner, Herb Gardener and held positions at Lear, The Poor Peddler, Tranquility Cove, and American Metal Fabricators. June was a member of Friends of the Nottawa Library, and was an herbalist, gardener, and Sunday School Teacher.
Surviving are her Daughter, Brandon Blow of Milford; Son, Michael (Barbara) Glide of Three Rivers; Son, Eric Glide; Grandchildren, April (Chad) Steinman, David P. Glide, Jeffery (Sara) Glide, Caitlin Blow; Great-Grandchildren, Reyna Steinman, Faust Glide; Serene Glide; Life-long friend, Katy O’Dea; special nephew, Joseph (Georgina Boyce) Poloski; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, parents, in-laws Robert and Margaret Glide, sister Dorothy Marranian, brother Jack Thackery, niece Marcy Poloski, and life-long friend Donna Utley.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (600 W. Burr Oak St. Centreville, MI 49032), Nottawa Library (685 E.
