Sports complex receives donation

The Three Rivers Sports Complex received a $10,000 donation from Fibre Converters Foundation Inc. to help fund the construction of a multi-use sports complex.
Three Rivers Little League, Three Rivers Rocket Football and American Youth Soccer Organization 1197 have partnered with the Three Rivers Area Community Foundation to build a multi-use sports complex.
The sports complex will help alleviate busy peaks between games, draw people to the area for a financial impact to the community, and demonstrate an investment in the community’s youth.
The Three Rivers Sports Complex and Three Rivers Area Community Foundation are still in need of help and support from the community to reach an ultimate goal of $4.9 million. Donations can be made online at the website: threeriversfoundation.com/donate.
