Alice E. Edwards, 82, of Constantine, died Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Riverview Manor in Three Rivers following an extended illness.
She was born April 29, 1933, in Three Rivers, the daughter of Lloyd and Veda (Schrader) Babcock and lived in St. Joseph county all of her life.
She was a homemaker and was employed by Freeman Manufacturing and Sturgis Luxliner, Greenfield Research and Industrial Sewer.
She enjoyed watching birds, doll making and crocheting.
On March 11, 1951, she married Don Edwards in Centreville. He died in December 1985.
She is survived by two daughters, Alice (Mike) Schragg of Constantine and Donna Williams of White Pigeon; two sons, Paul Edwards of Battle Creek and Harley ( Marlene) Edwards of Union City; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two grandchildren; a twin sister, Audra; and two brothers, Lloyd J. and Albert.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2015, with pastor Randy Evans, of New Beginnings Church of Sturgis, officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Colon.
