Harry J. Wilbur Sr., 57, of Mottville Township, White Pigeon, died Monday, May 11, 2015, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, following a short illness.
He was born Oct. 29, 1957, in Sturgis, a son of Gerald and Dorothy (Middaugh) Wilbur Sr.
He was a Mottville resident for 30 years. He worked as a farmer and as a welder for Leland Engineering.
On Oct. 3, 1981, he married Caroline M. Waite in White Pigeon. She survives, along with his children, Vicky L. ( John) Knotts, Tara L. Pelfrey, Harry J. (Jesseca) Wilbur Jr. and Joseph O. (Sandy) Wilbur; 13 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jackie, Bernon, Holton and Frank Cowan, Nina Studabaker, Darlene Hill, Deborah Overstreet, and Brenda Lindo, Harold, Gerald, Gregory, Gordon, Karalyn and David Wilbur; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter; and a son-in-law.
Visitation will be held noon-2 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
