One person was arrested on drug-related charges this week following an investigation by members of the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit.
Agency officials said the unit on Wednesday served a search warrant in the 15000 block of Millard Road in Fabius Township.
Investigators had received information about an individual with outstanding warrants who was alleged to also be manufacturing methamphetamine.
Officers went to the house and discovered evidence of methamphetamine production. A search warrant was obtained and one resident was arrested. The subject’s gender and age were not stated in a department media release.
Officers found several one-pot meth labs as well as finished product.
Warrant requests will be turned over to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office for other residents not present at the time of the warrant’s execution.
Charges include operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.
The Three Rivers Police Department assisted SCAN on the search warrant.
