The Three Rivers Area Community Foundation has announced its recipients of scholarships issued to members of the 2015 Three Rivers High School graduating class.
The scholarships were established to reward students continuing their education for academic achievements, community involvement, and/or athletic excellence.
Payton Krause was awarded three scholarships totaling $5,500; Austin Witters received three scholarships totaling $1,500; Ashley Smith was presented a $1,000 scholarship renewable up to four years for pursuing a degree in teaching; Cheyenne Richardson, a three-sport athlete, received the Ken McEnroe Scholarship and was one of 12 recipients of the Adam Learn #27 Memorial Scholarship; Zakary Zagon and Andrew Coney received scholarships worth $500 each through the Edward “Coach” T. Johnson and Patricia Johnson Scholarship; Karina Palomino received the George Haines Scholarship, a $600 benefit; Elizabeth Vail was issued a $750 scholarship renewable for four years; and the Dorothy Hiatt Nursing Scholarship was designated to Gillian Cupp.
