Kevin Hahn, 53

Kevin Earl Hahn, age 53, of Sturgis, Mich., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 11, 2015, at his home.
He was born March 11, 1962, in Sturgis, son of the late Earl and Sharon (Birgy) Hahn.
Kevin was a lifelong Sturgis resident and a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1980.
Kevin was employed as the drug testing coordinator for the Twin County Probation Center in Three Rivers for over 21 years and for several years had been working weekends at Securitas Security Services in Three Rivers.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf and watching sports. Being always overwhelming proud of his daughter he truly cherished daddy daughter dates with Kaely.
He is survived by one daughter, Kaely Hahn of Burr Oak; six sisters, Debra (John) Gorman of Madison, Ala., Laura (Marty) Barnard of Sturgis, Susan (Rodney) Taylor of Mendon, Kathy (Stephen) McPherson of Port Huron, Paula (Tim) Doenges of Colon and Vicky Barons of Sturgis; one brother, Paul Winkleman Jr. of Sturgis and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Hahn; mother, Sharon Melchert and father and step-mother: Earl and Willa Hahn.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331. Funeral services celebrating the life of Kevin Earl Hahn will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Grim will officiate. In accordance with family wishes cremation will follow the services. Private burial of the ashes will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis at a later date.
