An alumni football game Saturday between Colon and Centreville high schools generated about $2,500 for a Constantine man injured a week earlier in an alumni contest of his own.
Organizers of the weekend’s matchup between the Magi and Bulldogs agreed they would designate all gate receipts for Robert Roll, a 2003 Constantine High School graduate who suffered a neck injury July 5 in a contest against White Pigeon.
The Robert Roll Fund was established to help with medical expenses related to his treatment and recovery.
Colon won Saturday’s game, 6-0.
