Cheryl McClain, 46

Cheryl Ann McClain, 46, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015, at her home.

Cheryl was born July 27, 1968 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Whitmyer) McClain.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Ralph McClain; her daughter, Makayla; her brother, Richard Meade.

Cheryl enjoyed coming over and spending time with her family, especially with her niece Abby. She always had a particular interest in animals, especially her dog Zeus. She enjoyed spending time outdoors having bonfires and barbeques.

Cheryl will be greatly missed by family and friends. Cheryl is survived by her mother, Dorothy McClain; her brother, Terry (Maria) McClain; her sister, Fran (Meade) Herndon; her sister, Helen Louise McClain; her niece, Abigail; her cousin, Carrie Hughes; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A graveside service to inter Cheryl’s cremains will be held at Poe Cemetery in Newberg Township at a later date.
