Danna Jae Tipton, age 32, of Jones, MI., passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 18, 1982 in Saginaw, MI.; the daughter of Carl Eric Noreus and Doreen Doris (Jambor) Oatten.
Danna graduated from Alpena High School. She moved from Grand Rapids to Three Rivers twelve years ago and worked at Meijer for four years before working as a bank teller for First Merit Bank one year. Danna served as President and Vice-President of the Norton P.T.O. for several years.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, father, Carl Noreus, of Columbus, OH.; mother, Doreen Oatten, of Alpena, MI.; husband, Alan Tipton, of Three Rivers, MI.; son, Gabriel Rankin, step-daughter, Kaitlyn Tipton, both of Three Rivers; sister, Darcy (Mark) Wiser; brothers, Joel, Jeremy, and Jason Oatten.
Per Danna’s request cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.hohnerfh.com in care of her arrangements.
