More drug arrests in TR

Two people were arrested on drug-related charges last week in the city of Three Rivers.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department said investigators from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit executed a search warrant Thursday at a residence in the 900 block of 5th Street following an ongoing investigation.

SCAN officers obtained and executed a search warrant. Upon completing a search of the residence, officers located heroin, cocaine and other controlled substances.

Two subjects residing at the residence were taken into custody. They were lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail and booked on charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and maintaining a drug house.

Assisting SCAN were the Three Rivers Police Department and Children Protective Services.
