Investigators from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit – along with deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department and officers from the White Pigeon Police Department – executed a search warrant for narcotics Wednesday last week in the 800 block of West Chicago Road in the village of White Pigeon.
Methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia were located.
According to a department media release, numerous citizen tips led investigators to the residence.
Authorities took into custody a male and female suspect residing at the residence. They were taken to the St. Joseph County jail and arraigned on a number of methamphetamine-related charges.
Their three children were removed from the home and placed into foster care by Child Protective Services.
