Doug Kaiser, 75

Douglas Dale Kaiser, 75, of Three Rivers, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born on Dec. 10, 1939 in Three Rivers the son of the late Raymond and Dale (Prouty) Kaiser.

Doug has been a lifelong resident of Three Rivers. He attended Three Rivers Schools and after graduation began working for Wellsaw Manufacturing in 1959 until moving to the Johnson Corporation in 1984 where he retired after many years. Doug was a life member of the Michigan Trapshooting Association, Lakes Area Conservation Club, and the Three Rivers Eagles #2303.

Mr. Kaiser was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Dixie Kaiser; and one brother, Raymond Kaiser.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, two daughters, Karen (Edwin “Bud”) Sanderlin and Nancy (Mike) Russell, both of Three Rivers; one sister, Marjorie Wordelman; and two grandchildren, Emma and Garrett Russell.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. Cremation will be conducted following services and interment will be held at a later date.
