The 78th Abbott’s Magic Get-Together is underway!
Greg Bordner, owner of Abbott’s Magic Co. in Colon, said the bar for talent at the Abbott’s Magic Get-Together is exceptionally high and for the four-day Get-Together, there’s not a stronger showcase of talent anywhere in Michigan.
He said there are no less than four performers at each of the nightly shows Wednesday through Saturday.
Other highlights during the four-day event include daily busking experiences, 3 o’clock magic shows at Abbott’s, and a stage talent contest at 10 a.m. Friday. The close-up contest at Curly’s takes place at 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
Saturday’s matinee show starts at 2 p.m. and benefits the Colon Lions Club. The nightly showcase performances begin at 8 p.m. at Colon High School. Tickets are $20 for bleacher seating and $25 for reserved floor seats.
