The Exchange Club of Sturgis recently announced its 19th “Keep Sturgis Beautiful” Award program winners, recognizing four city homeowners and one commercial business.
As in the past, the Exchange Club chose one winner from each of the city’s four corners as well as one non-residential property.
Sturgis Neighborhood Program Director Monica Smith shared that the properties are judged and selected as being excellent examples of appealing landscaping, general upkeep, overall appearance and pride in ownership.
The residential winners were: 308 Michigan Ave., 701 S. Orange St., 724 Friar Tuck Drive, and 334 Beverly St. Sturgis Bank and Trust in downtown Sturgis was the commercial-property winner.
Each recipient received a framed certificate, a gift certificate and an award sign to display in their yard for a month.
