Sherman Davis, 93

Sherman S. Davis age 93, of Cassopolis, MI passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at home.
He was born October 7, 1921 in Roachdale, IN , the son of Rolley N. and Myrtle C. (Scott) Davis.. On August 8, 1942 he married Mary Elizabeth Rosser who preceded him in death June 29, 2013.
Sherman was a WWII veteran and had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying prior to starting his family. He worked all his life as an electrician. He enjoyed farming and hunting. He also enjoyed geology and ancestry.
Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Sue (Robert) Mortimore of Cassopolis; two sons, Terry Lee (Ann) Davis of Cassopolis and Lawrence Sherman (Patricia) Davis of Marcellus; one brother, Jack Davis of Danville, IN; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother and one sister.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in the Funeral Home, Marcellus. Burial will follow in Marcellus Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Online condolences may be left at Mater-Ralston Funeral Home
