Franklin Richard McDaniel, 71, of Elkhart, Ind. passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1944 in Bloomfield, Ind. to Ervin and Sarah McDaniel.
On Nov. 17, 1995 he married Linda K. Pritchard. Franklin is survived by: his wife, Linda McDaniel of Goshen, Ind.; his sons, Richard and Thomas McDaniel; siblings, Harry and Robert; grandchildren, Lucas, Ricky, Travis, Ryan and Courtney McDaniel, all of Constantine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, James, Patsy, Mary and Doris.
He was a graduate from Constantine High School in 1963 and continued to become a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker. He was once active on the Constantine Fire Department where he became Assistant Chief and an EMT. He also owned and operated DMS Machine in Constantine. When Franklin married Linda they spent many happy years together, they enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and spending time together at their home.
Per Franklin’s wishes there will be no services or visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his arrangements.
