Mike Ludlow, 63

Michael J. Ludlow, age 63, of Marcellus, MI passed away at home Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
He was born May 18, 1952 in Chicago, IL the son of Joseph M. and Joyce I. (Bayne) Ludlow who preceded him in death. On June 10, 1973 in Marcellus, MI he married Darlene Ann Fisk who survives.
Mike was a Veteran with the U.S. Navy having served from 1972 to 1978. He retired from Con-Tech in Dowagiac, MI after 34 years. Mike was a member of the Marcellus Fire Department for over 15 years and served on the Village Council for 4 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking. He truly loved his family and friends and will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his wife Ann; one son, Daniel (Janice) Ludlow and one daughter, Miranda (Ian Kelley) all of Marcellus; four sisters, Ellen (Richard) Nanette of CT, Frances (Bruce) Rosenstel of Holland, MI, Phyllis (Vernon) Thomas of Marcellus and Susan (Steve) Counsler of Ionia, MI; one brother Edward Ludlow of Marcellus; three grandchildren, Brenden, Morgan, Blake a grandson on the way and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ruth Underwood and Lola Murray.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Monday, September 28, 2015 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home.
