White Pigeon Area Community Foundation, a geographic affiliate of Sturgis Area Community Foundation, recently approved $7,600 in grant awards during its 2015 competitive-grant program.
The Adele M. Gray Fund awarded $4,500 to the White Pigeon Caring Families for community and program support. The Fund for White Pigeon also provided grant support to White Pigeon Caring Families with a $1,000 grant.
The Richard and Mary Magee Fund, along with the Fund for White Pigeon, provided $1,000 in grant support to the White Pigeon Downtown Revitalization Association to assist with the White Pigeon Business Grant program.
A proactive grant for $600 from the Daisy Allabach Fund was awarded to White Pigeon Community Schools to support educational programs for special needs students.
The Fund for White Pigeon also awarded a grant supporting the 2015 Edds 5k walk/run as a sponsor.
