Alma A. Bell, 79, of Three Rivers, died on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015 at Three Rivers Health.
She was born on July 22, 1936 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Leonard and Merlie Mae (Ash) Haines.
She was a Three Rivers area resident many years coming from Grand Rapids. She was employed as a surgical technician and teacher at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. Member of Grant Chapel AME Church in Three Rivers and enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by her brother, Reginald Haines of Lawrenceville, Ga.; great-aunt, Lorna Mourning of Cassopolis; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Grant Chapel AME Church in Three Rivers where services will be at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pamela Williams officiating. Cremation will follow with interment of cremains in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be directed to the church.
