DDA director resigns

Brian Persky, executive director of the Three Rivers DDA/Main Street, announced Tuesday he has submitted his letter of resignation to the board of directors.
Persky, whose last day on the job in Three Rivers will be Nov. 25, said he was recently presented with an opportunity to serve as sports sales manager at Discover Kalamazoo. He said the position combines his years of professional economic-development experience with his personal passion for sports.
Persky said it has been an honor to serve downtown Three Rivers and the Three Rivers community for the last 16 months.
Since becoming a Main Street community in 2014, Persky said the city is already seeing many positive impacts and is beginning to finally unleash the potential of what some said wasn’t possible in Three Rivers.
