Mary Louise Gould, 90, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at Riverview Manor in Three Rivers. She was born in Washington, Ind. on Aug. 27, 1925 the daughter of Milo and Sarah (Armes) Singleton, and graduated from Washington High School. Her first marriage to Howard Zollers ended in divorce.
Mary was married to Charles Gould on Dec. 3, 1949 in Washington, Ind. They moved to Constantine, and resided briefly in Mendon where her husband served as Chief of Police. She returned to Constantine and later moved to the Maple Crest Apartment in Three Rivers where she has spent the past 33 years. Mary was a homemaker who also worked as a Nurses Aid at Three Rivers Area Hospital, and in home health care in the Kalamazoo area.
Mary is survived by two children, Lanny (Kim) Gould of Lindale, Texas and Jessie (Hal) Leopard of Cape Coral, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl and Elmer Singleton; a sister, Lucille Walker; and a daughter, Cassandra Crabtree.
In keeping with her wishes cremation has been conducted, and her ashes will be interred in Leonidas Cemetery. No services are planned at this time. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com.
