Police investigate trailer thefts

State police investigators are looking into the theft of two trailers from a residence last week in Sherman Township.
A department media release indicated the incident occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday off Findley Road, near M-66.
A black, utility trailer was loaded with barn wood, while a silver cargo trailer was filled with electronic equipment.
Meanwhile, sheriff’s deputies were called the same day to Leonidas Township, where a trailer and a lawnmower were reported stolen from a residence in the 31000 block of M-60.
The victim said the Interstate landscaping trailer and orange zero-turn mower with a 72-inch deck were taken between 6:45 a.m. and 2 p.m.
