Three Rivers Health reports growth

Three Rivers Health Board of Trustees this week reported net income of nearly $81,000 for August and net income of about $260,000 for the year, which is almost $95,000 above budget and $1.4 million above the prior year.
CEO Bill Russell said Three Rivers Health is not only on firm ground financially, but is in a season of growth thanks to the support, service and leadership of its employees and board.
In other news from its September meeting, the board learned Dr. Michael Maskill’s brother, Dr. James Maskill, has recently joined him at his clinic. Both physicians are foot and ankle specialists, and will be seeing patients along with performing surgeries at Three Rivers Health.
Also, hospital executives reported that discussions began with West Michigan Cancer Center to expand physician hours for oncology service beginning the first of the year. In addition, it was noted that the Center for Wound Healing is now producing a positive margin.
