A suburban Detroit family is in disbelief after a deer jumped through the front window of their home and wreaked havoc in a bedroom.
The family’s 17-year-old and 12-year-old daughters were inside their Mount Clemens home Tuesday afternoon when the six-point buck came crashing through the window and charged down the hallway. The girls called their mother, who was at work, to tell her about the trapped deer and she rushed home after instructing them to call police.
The family eventually was able to lock the deer in the younger daughter’s bedroom, where it trampled on personal items and left blood all over the bed and walls.
Homeowner Nicole Gietzen says it took animal control two hours and five tranquilizers to subdue the deer.
No one was seriously injured. (AP)
