Three Rivers Community Schools Superintendent Jean Logan was given a rating of “effective” for the 2014-15 academic year.
The district’s second-year superintendent was acknowledged for her progressive efforts that include a positive attitude, focus on student achievement, listening skills and self-improvement as a leader.
Members of the district’s board of education discussed the evaluation Monday.
According to a summary of the evaluation, the process included a series of 67 focus areas with four ranked categories of statements reflecting levels of performance from a low of “ineffective” to a ceiling of “highly effective.”
The summary concluded that the 50-year-old Logan is “well motivated, hard working and diligent in her efforts to improve the performance levels of herself, the board, district staff, and its students.”
Areas in need of improvement cited in the summary were related to staff-hiring process, clarity regarding funding and facility management.
Logan’s salary for the current school year is $120,000.
