Sturgis gas station robbed

A clerk at the Admiral gas station in Sturgis was robbed Monday morning.
Sturgis police said the suspect entered the store, located at 1207 E. Chicago Road, during the early morning hours and displayed a handgun. The clerk complied with the man’s request for money from the store’s cash register.
He left the scene in an unknown direction. The suspect was described as a white man standing about six feet tall.
