The Michigan State Police Marshall Post, White Pigeon Detachment investigated a two vehicle injury crash Friday afternoon. One vehicle a 2004 Saturn driven by Nancy Visel, 62, of Schoolcraft, was northbound on US-131 when it struck a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Sheri Bethard, 53, of Marcellus, as it crossed US-131 from Heimbach Road.
Visel was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, by Three Rivers Ambulance. Bethard was flown to Bronson Hospital by Samaritan Medical Transport of Ft. Wayne. Â Bethard is listed in serious condition, but expected to make a full recovery. Visel is also expected to make a full recovery.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, and both drivers had their seatbelts on. Bethard was cited for failure to yield.
Assisting at the scene were Fabius/Park Fire Department, and Three Rivers Ambulance.
