An Elkhart County woman suffered serious injuries this week after her vehicle crashed into a plow truck in Mottville Township.
State police said Jessica Stouder, 21, of Middlebury, was driving on M-103 around 8:20 p.m. Monday when she lost control of her vehicle just north of the Indiana state line and it crashed into an oncoming Michigan Department of Transportation truck.
Stouder had to be extricated from her vehicle. She was taken to Goshen Hospital and admitted in serious but stable condition.
Investigators said alcohol was not a factor but there is a question about whether Stouder was wearing a seatbelt.
